Having become a big fan of Neil Gaiman’s modern day fantasy novel during the development of its TV version, I jumped at the chance to play my part in its launch. As FremantleMedia’s highest profile US drama, and a major launch for Starz, pressure was high to deliver and close coordination was required with Starz’ materials. My role included creating the international B2B tease and launch campaigns, based on key art and photography supplied by Starz.
I designed this presentation pack for key international buyers. It comprised a brochure, laser etched wooden box, plus three shot glasses and a bottle of mead. I proposed including the mead in homage to the mead which the main character Shadow drinks and unwittingly seals his pact with Mr Wednesday.

I designed the cover using the buffalo skull motif supplied by Starz as a blind embossing to give it a tactile effect.

I designed a selection of one-off static and animated posts to promote the show.

Using key art supplied by Starz, I designed the ad and liaised closely with the venue when creating the artwork, to ensure that the finished piece would have maximum impact.
