Got 10 seconds? Here’s a taste of my design work for licensing brands…
Got a bit longer? Good. I love working on licensing brands because they come with ready made fans who really care, and who will let you know whether they love (or not) what you do.
I can create a wide variety of the materials required for licensing brands myself, these include:
I commission and art direct other materials where they fall outside of my expertise to create them myself, for example:
And if you need sales, marketing or comms support as part of your project, I have a network of consultants with licensing industry backgrounds, who I can call upon to collaborate with.
Developing creative assets and marketing and sales materials for licensing brands is tricky. It involves blending a sense of fun and affinity for the brand with a commercial understanding.
I have extensive experience in developing creative materials for new licensing brands, refreshing classic ones and extending others, these include The X Factor, Danger Mouse, American Idol, Grand Designs and Save the Children. This comes from my time leading a creative team for brand owner Fremantle, as well as from working with a variety of private clients since then.
I am adaptable in my approach, and can use this experience to keep the level of creativity and finish high even when working with tight deadlines, limited budgets or a lack of assets.
The best place to start any creative project is with a conversation, and the earlier the better. Whether you’re unsure where to start or have a clear plan in mind, I’m always happy to speak.
