Intelligent Inbox is a thought leadership site run by CEO.digital and Barracuda. I designed the site’s branding and website, and project managed its production.
After conducting competitor research and obtaining input from the CEO.digital and Barracuda teams, I developed the positioning for the brand, which included defining a brand archetype. The essence of the brand is to be ‘Your very human, technologically visionary, email security guide.’
The brief for the site was to give it a magazine feel. I developed a clean logo which would work well as a masthead, and which visually references the @ symbol, which features in email addresses. The way ‘inbox’ is encircled is also intended to evoke an impression of protection.
I project managed the build of the website, and designed the site myself while working closely with the digital team at Chief Nation as well as developer Jack Lawry of Coded Pixel. A new website was built, we used Umbraco in part because of its superior security features, security being key to the Intelligent Inbox brand. Close integration with a CRM platform was built into the site, and we developed a simple system to serve ads within the site and to enable new partners’ content to be featured in their own sections within the site.
