Sports and entertainment consultancy KMC Ltd needed a new website, to generate new leads, express the passion at the heart of KMC’s brand, as well as to showcase new work to existing prospects and clients.
After a detailed discussion with our client Andy King about the aims and features which the site needed, we plotted out a rough wireframe of the site which defined the number of pages needed and what should go on each one. A key finding was that KMC has two key types of clients: brands and rights holders. This consideration was built into the site structure, with a separate page for each type.
We decided upon a CMS system which would be fully functioned as well as easy for KMC to use and maintain themselves in future.
The design uses bold graphics and typography, in keeping with the mostly sports-based imagery. KMC briefed us to inject a feeling of passion and emotion into the site too, this is reflected in the fiery colour palette and images showing intense sporting moments.
Animation is used in a subtle way across the site, in order to emphasise key elements and add polish to the user experience.
We set up the set to be fully accessible and optimised for search engines. Finally we conducted a full handover so that KMC can monitor, run and update the site with minimal technical know-how needed.
While it’s too early to see results from the site, it has been well received at launch and our client, KMC Director Andy King, was very pleased with the site:
